2  Deregister a domain

A domain can be deregistered from a license with which it is registered.

This procedure allows the domain for any license to be deregistered, but both the license number and its paired domain must be specified. Once done, every page of the specified domain will be greyscale and slightly blurred, with, ***** NOT REGISTERED ***** shown at the bottom of every management and public page. Only the master manager will be able to log in to Register a domain or Uninstall the site, optionally specifying a domain URL to redirect to for the latter.

Steps

The role to perform this procedure is: Master manager.

To deregister a domain:1Go to the Site page

by clicking on the Site jump in the final list item of the Access section of the Work list page.

The page is displayed with Details and Actions sections like:

2Show the fields

by clicking the Deregister domain option.

The fields are exposed, with the current domain in the Domain URL field:

3Provide field values

by optionally typing in another Domain URL, and cutting-and-pasting the license number from the email from the seller.

4Confirm the transferby:
  1. 1.Clicking on the Submit checkbox.
  2. 2.Clicking on the resulting Submit checkbox.
  3. 3.Clicking on the resulting Confirm button.
The page is redisplayed with a Done label after the Action section introduction:
Successful completion of Site action
If for the current domain:
  1. a.All pages will be greyscale and slightly blurred.
  2. b.***** NOT REGISTERED ***** will show at the bottom of every management and public page.
  3. c.Only the master manager will be able to log in.
