1  Register a domain

A site's domain can be registered with another license if access to the license it was installed with was lost.

This procedure is to register a domain with a Smallsite Design license. Not to be confused with Rent a domain name which is for registering a domain name with a registrar.

The procedure can only be done from the domain to be registered. It is alright if the domain is already registered to the license number provided. If the license number had been revealed to someone untrustworthy, they might have maliciously registered the domain, possibly from another site.

The role to perform this procedure is: Master manager.

To register a domain with a license:1Go to the Site page⬒︎

by clicking on the Site jump in the final list item of the Access section of the Work list page.

2Show the field⬒︎

by clicking on the Register domain option.

3Provide field value⬒︎

by cutting-and-pasting the license number from the email from the seller.

4Confirm the transfer⬒︎by:

1. 1.Clicking on the Submit checkbox.
2. 2.Clicking on the resulting Submit checkbox.
3. 3.Clicking on the resulting Confirm button.
